Growing up in the suburbs, and in a non-hunting family, I was never exposed to hunting - but always had a strong love for the outdoors, and a desire to be outside. Eventually, I discovered a desire to hunt deer, but there was one big problem: I didn’t know how to, or have anywhere to go. I dove off the deep-end into the long, painful process of teaching myself how to hunt. Every free second was spent either in the woods, reading/watching content learning about hunting, or analyzing my time in the woods trying to learn from my mistakes and not repeat them. Along the way, I learned more than I ever imagined, and became a very efficient and successful hunter. 

Hunt Urban was started to share everything that I learned along that journey, and all the things that I still continue to learn today, as well as the wild and unique things that happen when hunting an overabundant whitetail population in the suburbs of our Nations Capital. My goal is to educate, entertain, and help anyone out there become a better hunter - no matter if they’re a seasoned veteran, or have never set foot afield. I hope that the tips, tactics, hunts, and product reviews have something for everyone to learn from!
